About Me

textile-alchemist: I have been sewing and knitting since l was a child. Now with a family of my own its feels only natural to pass on this knowledge as well as to keep creating. There are so many new materials out there......as well as the traditional. I like to mix both like an alchemist would her chemicals. I like to create beautiful hand made gifts that are functional, so they can be used and loved everyday. All of my work is inspired by Mother Nature and the cycles she takes us on as she journeys through the seasons of the year. The colours, shapes and feelings that are experienced and transcend ordinary consciousness are captured as snapshots within my work. I try and make my gifts as functional as possible so they can be used and enjoyed every day. If there is an item that you really like but would like it in another colour way please contact me as l may have the colour you are looking for, failing that l maybe able to custom make an item for you.
